I like the direction you’re taking. I recently read Bill McKibben’s Eaarth, and while I hope the holistic lifestyle changes he predicts are not all inevitable, the argument for finding new ways to repair, preserve, sustain and even thrive in the new environment we’ve created are compelling. There will be a myriad of new career opportunities as the green movement matures. Early preparation of tomorrow’s leaders and workforce will be critically important.

Excellent post! In addition to being relevant to any employer, it makes me think about all the years’ attempts to motivate teens in my own circle.

This is a very nice post, I know a lot of people that works in the summer just to make extra cash, all of them are students and they work to have money when the school starts, I think it’s ok to work in summer a little and then go partying with your friends . Best regards

I like the generational divide technology concept of (old) pioneers vs new pioneers. I know what WYSIWYG means – I think that makes me a pioneer.

I like your focus on analysis. One thing I’ve noted in an office setting is that analysis often needs to be followed by the establishment and (ahem!) continued use of new procedures. The “continued use” is an issue because procedures sometimes drop out of use, rendering earlier problem-solving less than effective in the long term. Great article!
